Chemistry Lab Technician

About the role:

The purpose of this role is to provide research and analytical testing support for the Chemistry Team within Cawthron's Commercial Laboratories.

About you:

Our ideal candidate will encompass the following qualities:

  • BSc. or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of three years relevant experience in a commercial IANZ 17025 laboratory environment
  • Strong general laboratory skills (e.g., use of balances and pipettes, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experiences in automated laboratory instrumentation (namely ICP-MS, GC, GC-MS, LC, and LCMS) desired
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Competency in using LIMS system would be desirable.
